very common, very basic, but at the same time, (extremely helpful) thanks so much for this information.
This reminds me of working on the electrical in your car. many people assume the worst and try to deal with that first. when its most times just a blown fuse or some other small ,easy fix. thats kinda what your showing us here, take care of the simple things first, then devote time to the more difficult tasks.

What an excellent post! I wish that when I was starting out I had realised the huge value of these deceptively simple tips. But back then I didn't foresee that spreading myself over multiple projects instead of concentrating on just one to completion, would cause me to not complete anything for a frustratingly long time! Brilliant, and thanks for sharing it with us. If you have any more tips shared online please let us know by commenting on this thread - I have subscribed to comments via email just in case.

I really like # 3.
I know many people try and follow the exact footsteps of someone they admire but, you are not them. You must add your own personality into what you do.
You can take what they do and put yourself in it. If it does not work out and you are not getting results then switch it up!Everyone has different strengths.
Trial and error will allow you to see where your weak points are so, you can work on them.

Excellent post. I have found that, as hard as it is to do, concentrating on one product at a time really is important. When you get too many irons in the fire, there is no way to give each the dedication they need for success. That's been my experience anyway!

Max Miroff - It all depends on what level you are at and what path you want to take. I will say this, DON'T buy anything because its the latest buzz product. If you're just starting out don't even consider a high priced coaching course. I have bought all sorts of products some good, the majority are rehashed crap :mad:

The best advice I can give is do your research, only buy a product because you want to learn about that particular area for example if you want to know more about SEO you buy a SEO product, don't buy it because every big name marketer is saying you need to get it, go at your own pace under your own terms.

If you can stick with #5 until you reached your set goal for that project and then move onto the next project and do the same thing again, you are already succeeding. Most peopl fail online becuase they do not stick to the work on hand and become butterflies and fly form project to project and not finishing any goals. Actually finishing set income income goals per poject and hen moving onto the next poject constantly has made a very big difference in my income and has allowed me to earn the kind of money I always dreamed of. So set goals - finish that project- rinse and repeat.

Great advice. Especially #3 and #5. The toughest one is definitely #5. I always have so many projects going on... so hard to get them all finished once you start up new ones along the way.

I know what you mean w/ #5... I've tried juggling several projects at the same time, but never fully concentrated my effort towards developing just one project. When you try to juggle 5 start-up projects at the same time, it's hard to stay organized and manage time. Prioritize your ideas, pick your favorite idea, and put all of your effort towards finishing that project before moving on. I've learned from my mistakes and have currently been focusing on one project (mainly my blog). Nice tips Pete :smile:
