John Cow dot COM: Fat & Lazy People Will Make You Rich

  • James Wilcox · 1 year ago
I'm looking forward to hearing your interview with Tim Sykes. I've read his book (something I won from JohnChow.com a while back) and I regularly read his blog. I haven't delved into short-selling which he is really a proponent of but I have learned a lot from his techniques and his business model is really working.

    Listening to it now...

Everything you guys talked about is very true. It also relates to your last post about getting off the MMO bandwagon. People should really try to do their own stuff instead of copying everyone else. Thanks again (and Tim) for doing this.

Yeah...I am listening to this right now also and I firmly agree with what you guys were talking about in the podcast. Most people are Fat & Lazy and they want you to do all of the work for them.

If you just show some proof...SOCIAL PROOF of your results, then people will really trust in you and pay you to do anything. I started doing this 2 months ago and I saw my income increase by a pretty decent amount.

Sweet. It's 2315 here in the UK but I'm downloading this now to listen to it. I've been reading Timothy Sykes site for a while now, I'm really impressed. Good catch on the interview.

I just paid our daughter $10 to read it and write this comment because I'm too lazy!

After listening to this interview it was such and eye opener. I alwayy just did my own thing instead of trying to goto into the MMO niche. I just post quality content and make sure people know about it.

The MOST IMPORTANT lesson I got from this is:

create a goal, find out how to get it and go and do it. great discussion

I really want to say thank you for having both the audio AND the transcript available. It is really hard for me to listen to anything online thanks to my kiddos and I really appreciate that extra step...was a great interview & those 3 questions you have are the 3 best ones to ask for starting a business or enhancing an existing one. Thanks again :)

We see this in pharmacy every day. People don't want to improve their quality of life if it takes effort. They want someone else to do it for them. They want to take a pill to solve diabetes when what they need to do is eat a proper diet, exercise, and learn more about their condition.

Love the podcast and post...like what is said about using your losses...lemon to lemonade...I think it's good to really own your losses...well, you couldn't give them away anyway and they are hard to share, so use them, they are cash/commodity.

Interesting interview. Thanks for sharing it with us. It's always great to listen to the experience of others. It is so true wht was said about finding the things other people don't want to do and then doing it for them - at a cost.

This is definately the case for information on the internet. I love to research on the internet, I call myself a 'learnaholic' but there are so many people who aren't, they want the information they need in the easiest and quickest way.

For online entrepreneurs that have skills and knowledge to share, or are prepared to get the skills and knowledge, there is always going to be a great opportunity to supply a quality service and make money, in whatever niche you choose to work in.

    Thanks for the interview.

Thanks for doing this interview. I took lots of notes.
My blog is still a baby--just a couple of weeks old--but I am thinking about in a different light now, thanks to your and Timothy's comments.
