Indirect marketing is great. It looks like your not even promoting something just to the average reader of a blog or whatever. Its sneaky but effective.

This is an interesting article. I saw done many times on me but never knew it was a marketing gimmick.

Although in a Chinese (or even Asian) culture, children don't normally get their way with something... influencing somebody who's influential to your target, like perhaps his/her wife/husband.

if you can indirectly make people interested and read and still drive them to your site, you are actually creating a much more powerful link because it will attract people who normally would never have found you. It is a very positive way to promote.

Cool post, this is really interesting. A few examples of how I could indirect market on my blog for my product would be awesome. Like some more practical tips as opposed to just examples. But all in all a great post.
