Guest posting is so important.It can bring you some fresh readers and help you to make progress more quickly. I did't realise this before since guest posting is not popular in our Chinese blogs. Thanks for you tips :razz:

There's a spike on the numbers of guest posts on blogs that I visit nowadays. However, I do find some great reads which are tailored to what actually the usual blogger will write about.

Guest blogging = nothing if the guest post is not well-written.

This article is also a good example of what a good guest post is.

Check your work for grammer ... hmm i wonder if that really matters. Personally to me, i think that it doesn't matter as long as the content is good. Who cares whether the sentence is a fragment.

I have noticed an increase in the number of guest posts recently. This is evidence of how effective it is in terms of increasing publicity for new / smaller blogs.

I have done this for some time and it helps not only my blogs but the blogs im posting on as they make more from advertisers as well.

I was greatly considering allowing a couple of guest posts due to a severe case of 'writers block'...after reading this,I'm sold. I think as long as the potential guest is knowledgable and charismatic enough it'll make for a good post.

BTW: I really like this blog design...the particular green used is one of my favorite colors.

1)Precisely. After a number of eyeballs, a brand/name becomes implanted in the brain.
2)1050 is pretty amazing, although not surprising with the kind of content she produces. Skellie has also gathered a huge amount of RSS subscribers for her new blog - Anywired.

@Wayne Liew: Yes, you've hit it bang on. "Guest blogging = nothing if the guest post is not well-written." In fact, it can even have a negative effect.
