Well, at least MEW makes a named here. I think it doesn't matter if it is a copycat. We all knew that, but if it is going to be known by many and successful (I think it is). I won't mention it as a "failed project", I'll give it a 5-Star.

Bottom line, because YOU feel it's a failed project doesn't mean it is. Who do you think are you anyway?

What an absolute shambles.... but the comments in this post are the funniest thing I've read in days ;-)

Bottom line... its a failed project, even with JC sending you thousands of hits you failed to shift pages, it got ripped up on digital point and on most of the (non affilliate) reviews...

Realizing the game was up you donned your parachute and left someone else to pick up the pieces....

If you thought for a second that this site was gonna "go viral" and bring in 1, 000, 000 euros... personal issues or not you would have made time to keep the site going... or paid someone else to run it for you.... or sold this blog to concentrate on MEW....

My page sold for $90. Broke even + some free buzz exposure from here and Cashquests :) along with a few CashCrate referrals.

I guess the hard work for the wiki is just starting for the new owner. Just type million euro wiki in google and you will get a lot of the word SCAM in it. That is surely not good for busines! Other than the wiki is not rank on any near the top page of search of its own name.

Nice flip Cow. You didn't cash out as well as Shoemoney did with auctionads but still decent for a month old project lol.

For those that worry, the cow already did all the hard work on the wiki. Now it is just up to promoting which the new owners will obviously do so they can earn their investment back and the page owners will still do for the same reasons. All those still involved have a stake in it and it succeeding. Might not have the same personality attached the same way but still has the roots needed to snowball as much as something like that can.

Cow, just be careful about starting any other projects anytime soon or the trolls will come out of the woodwork asking how you have time for more projects but didn't have time for MEW. The same types of people that don't really know how much work can go into something like that.

When management changes, oftentimes there is significant change in the direction of the underlying product. I guess the wiki customers will have to wait and see what happens and whether the pre-existing hype machine will still be there to promote it.

For example: If craigslist were bought out, I'm sure there would be a panic among those accustomed to the free service it offered.
