Sounds really good John, thanks for the heads up. I have been interested in the poker affiliate business for quite some time, and this is definititely a great resource that you have mentioned. I'm learning a lot already, and think it is valuable for anyone willing to get their feet wet.

I have never tried the poker affiliate business. I might get around to it someday but
I don't think I'll have enough time right now. I will however check out their contest and sign up on those forums. Thanks for the info John, I'll check it out.

A feature post on poker here, wow. What is on everyone's mind now besides the WPT and EPT is the WSOP. The fever is coming in a few months time. There are satellites everywhere in many poker rooms. If you want to learn the game, it is definitely now when everyone is excited about it.

I've got a pretty good niche site for this affiliate program. I've been looking through this over the past few weeks. I'm still a bit confused. I notice a lot of sites offer 50% commission from revenue, for the first two months. Are there any programs that offer a percentage of commission for a lifetime? Honestly, I'd rather get 1% for life, rather than 50% for a month or two.

I have never had the chance to play with poker affiliates, its seems like a very competitive niche (probably because its so profitable), I might try some soon.

I use to have sportsbook and poker sites. The US government made it impossible. Do you know something I don't.
  • Jonathan · 1 year ago
The US government has not made it impossible. They just caused some poker rooms to pull out of the US market. It is not illegal to play online poker. Tons of people play online poker every day in the US, and tons of affiliates make money off of them everyday.

I think it worth pointing out that the best ways to learn poker is to visit an online poker school. Most of the top brands all provide some tutition into playing poker. Many poker players make the mistake of playing before they have mastered the art of online poker. It is better to learn the startegies first, play for fun and then when you are confident enough to play for real money. Play for small stakes at first and never to bet more than you can afford to lose.
