Jez, the links on the Wiki have all nofollow tags removed. And as for redirecting you to dealdotcom, it's just todays deal that gets featured underneath the last comment. Seems we forgot to close the < a > tags. You could have just told us.

Who the heck is Kumiko anyway? There are four dudes writing her blog and none of them write anything like she used to do on Blogspot. I miss her posts about Britney Spears and being worried about her friends getting drunk. The human touch to a blog can be very refreshing. She's one of the mysteries of the blogosphere (to me, anyway). I've never once had a hit on Google Analytics from Tokyo.

Laura, go back and read the posts about Kumiko again. We never claimed she was a fraud, one of our comments was in fact "innocent until proven guilty" on the whole blogsoap drama that some people made it into. We still don't care if Kumiko is a he or a she, we like the blog's content.

Cow: I doesn't matter to me what you do with the money you earn. It's none of my business. If you read my first comment, I said I was talking about Kumiko being a scam. You thought so yourself, didn't you? I don't remember you thinking "innocent until proven guilty" when you made those posts about it. And her ethics are questionable, leaning more toward gray and black hat (not trustworthy). So what??? She's entitled to it and you're entitled to join her. But that doesn't make it a smart move (reputations are contagious). It might be great now but maybe not so much later. I wasn't going to say anything though until I read this ironic post. :lol:

PS- Don't think that just because I disagree with you that I am against you. I'm not. I still love John Cow and Bob Meets World.

Laura, the money generated is reinvested in media coverage and advertisement for the site. We don't know who you are calling a scammer but we believe that anyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Cow: My point is, if you don't want people to question your credibility then don't partner up with scammers. The project looks like a get rich scheme that mainly benefits the owner(s). If you're serious about making money long term then your focus should be building up your reputation with your potential customers (readers) so that they will trust you when you do offer a (quality) product. That's my opinion for whatever it's worth.

It's the news of the day don't ya know? If it isn't rehashed over and over, then it just isn't newsworthy is it? I have stopped reading several blogs because of the same issue, but I don't write about it or get all bent of shape and bore people with my rants about it...I just find other blogs to read. Like the Cows' blog. Speaking of cows, one got loose in New York last week, New Jersey to be specific - now that wouldn't be newsworthy in Texas, and certainly no crowds would stop to watch like they did in Jersey, but I have to ask....did you have anything to do with that? :twisted:

Tabloids (and the like) get readers who want to hear about the negativity in celebs lives. The celebs don't always like it, but there isn't much they can do about it if they want to remain in the spotlight. Same with bloggers. If you want to be known, then you have to deal with the criticisms of the "shadow blogs". At Bob Meets World you came pretty close to uncovering the Kumiko scam. Now you're scamming with Kumiko and you've lost credibility. This makes me sad.

However, as you yourself have been very critical of sites and schemes you felt were poor, I don't think the "get cheap thrills from bashing others" remark is very fair.

I don't go out of my way to upset people, and don't want to make enemies out of other bloggers.

Like you I just say it as I see it.. what I wrote was my honest unbiased opinion.

My blog is nothing more than a hobby, it will never make any money, I sometimes go weeks between posts (hence there are no dates to be found on the blog).

I don't really care about attention or traffic on that site.. and I happen to think my criticism of you was fair.

In previous posts I have linked to your site as a source of honest information... which I also thought was fair....
