I've seen some marketers using it really well, and I've seen others using it as a spam machine. The good ones use it to actually develop (gasp) relationships. Get to know someone, let them learn more about you, and develop a rapport before ever trying to make a sale.

Re: Twitter Marketing for Your Business FREE Blog Series

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm always getting followers who's only intent is for me to follow them so they can spam me with their links.

Another thing, I really hate it when people thank me for following them and ask me to check out a URL. Does this technique really work?

Re: Twitter Marketing for Your Business FREE Blog Series

Cool concept.. Although Twitter is taking off research has shown that 60% of Twitter users quit before even using it one month :( , Most probably because of spammers you keep tweeting affiliate links

Re: Twitter Marketing for Your Business FREE Blog Series

I am sure it'll be a good series Jason. Twitter is Crazy!! who would have thought something so basic would be so explosive. Even the President of the USA has a Twitter account! I wrote a post about Twitter awhile back (http://hillbillydirect.com/.... Some interesting people to follow and an invite to share your twitter id for other followers. Twitter is pretty cool, anytime I stumble onto something, I can quickly share it with folks all over the place. Do a scan of other tweets and find all kinds of interesting links and info.

Cheers!

Jeromy(AKA Hillbilly)
http://twitter.com/JeromyS

Re: Twitter Marketing for Your Business FREE Blog Series

#11 is very tempting to learn, I wonder what it would cover..will definitely have to check back.

Re: Twitter Marketing for Your Business FREE Blog Series

Sounds great John, now that I have a Twitter client it's starting to make sense to me a lot more but any help would be appreciated. :)

Re: Twitter Marketing for Your Business FREE Blog Series

Sounds fantastic.
