    Welcome back Mr Moo!

I thought it was quite funny myself
  • Jorge @ InvestingAdventures · 2 years ago
Meh. Good linkbait but you've probably upset more folks than anything. Although there's at least 10-12 articles on the top of Google when you search for John Cow Hacked.
  • Jamie Harrop · 2 years ago
It's good to see the Cow back. Give it a month, and I'm sure somebody will conduct a survey to see just how many bloggers are now backing up their blogs after seeing your reminder. :)
  • Michael · 2 years ago
    Yay! You're back!!

I was worried for a while and if you didn't come back soon I would have donated $100 myself.

Oh, and thanks for the 31 days -- appreciate it!

Heads up.. got a php error when attempting to post a comment. Not sure if it was isolated or not.

Welcome back.. glad it was just a joke! The $100 ransom money was a giveaway although I couldn't be sure!
  • Mike Huang · 2 years ago
    THE MOO IS BACK! :)

Anyways, if you guys were really "HACKED", it would mean they got into your Cpanel. If you view your e-mails through the Cpanel, they wouldn't been able to create that @johncow.com e-mail :???:

Well...1-2 days of not seeing John Cow post the daily dairy, I really thought you guys got hacked

Good to see the site back.
  • Rock · 2 years ago
I did click on the paypal address to see where it lead, and as soon as I saw the address I started laughing. The cow has done it again.

I find it funny that some people are actually offended by this prank.
  • Angel · 2 years ago
I thought it was quite funny. We all knew what it was, which is why I don't understand how people could be so upset over the matter.
  • Nathan Hutchinson · 2 years ago
Haha great linkbait! I was one of the donators

  • bmunch · 2 years ago
I thought that was brilliant linkbait marketing, though with the paypal button, it might offend some sensitive readers.

    Lighten up, folks.

Hopefully I can get some extra cash..
  • betshopboy · 2 years ago
Welcome back Cow! For a couple of days and nights, children of the world were without their daily milk!

I thought it was pretty funny and original
  • jerrykhoo · 2 years ago
Knew it was stunt the moment I saw the pretty newspaper cutout ransom note. Tot it was pretty fun and something the Cow would do. Remember the stunt that the Cows were being sued not too long back?

Not sure if you have developed a "cry wolf" personality. What happens if something really happens to our dear Cow and your readers still think it's a joke?
  • McBilly · 2 years ago
Slick move Cow. One of the best moves ever. Hehe. Plus it got me a few laughs.
  • Deborah Dera · 2 years ago
Hahah! Too funny - and even funnier that people are writing about it but refusing to give you links (as though it's difficult to find www.johncow.com and bring you traffic anyway). Ho hum to the bored and the boring!
  • NSpeaks · 2 years ago
btw that paypal address could be of the hacker also if you would really have been hacked. Hacker needed only 5 minutes to create that fake id. and add it to his paypal account.
  • Jorge · 2 years ago
    Welcome back! I'm in.
